Transformasi Digital: Implementasi Sistem Penyimpanan Berkas (SiMAS) Melalui Platform Nextcloud (Studi Kasus: Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Cenderawasih)

Abstract

In the context of the rapid digital transformation currently underway in the academic environment, the implementation of a cloud-based file storage system (SiMAS) has become a pressing necessity. This research examines the implementation of SiMAS at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Cenderawasih, with the objective of improving file management and data security. Through a series of meticulous implementation steps, including initial preparation, data migration, user training, and system performance evaluation, this research demonstrates the significant positive impact of implementing SiMAS. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in data access speed, information security, and ease of use. Furthermore, they provide new insights into the use of cloud-based technologies in academic environments. The results of this study highlight the importance of using cloud-based technology in supporting efficiency and security in information management in higher education institutions.
